K-5 Reading Center

Offering remedial reading tutoring sessions for K-5 students, our Reading Center is dedicated to helping young learners improve their literacy skills. Led by our education majors under expert supervision, the center has served over 2,000 students since 1976.

Cadet Band

Our Capital Cadet Band is an honor band that performs challenging literature for young musicians. Comprised of advanced young musicians from schools across Central Ohio, the band provides a platform for technical and musical development.

Band Festival

For over 20 years, the Capital University Band Festival has provided students the opportunity to work with our internationally recognized faculty and renowned guest conductors. The festival is a celebration of music and talent, featuring performances by our Conservatory performing groups.
